ANTI HAZING POLICY: Chi Zeta Theta will not tolerate or participate in hazing of any kind. Any member that acts in a manner contradictory to our Anti Hazing Policy, will face fines and/or be expelled from the organization. The following are considered acts of hazing and are not allowed to be in association with our organization in any capacity: bodily harm, offensive punishment, pain, embarrassment, taking away a person's dignity, ridicule, emotional strain, destruction of one's property, belittling one's religious beliefs or sexual preference, and psychological harm. Any chapter or member found to be in violation of any of the statements listed above will be subject to the following:
1. Fines of up to $1000. 2. Being permanently banned from the organization and its chapters. 3. Legal action taken by either the organization or the persons victimized.
DRUG ABUSE POLICIES: Chi Zeta Theta is strongly against any members using illegal drugs of any kind. This means before, during, and after any organization activities. Our members must always conduct themselves in the manner stated in the membership handbook which will be distributed and studied at all training sessions. Members must agree to and abide by the rules set forth concerning Anti Hazing and Drug Abuse Policies. Members found to be under the influence of illegal drugs may be faced with the following consequences: 1. Verbal Warning 2. Excused from 3 meetings and one major event or activity. 3. Banishment from the organization and any of its chapters.
