Welcome one and all to the National Website of the Chi Zeta Theta Sorority, Inc. Chi Zeta Theta is the FIRST
sorority to empower the woman of size. As you explore our website, you will learn about our history, our mission,
our past and current events, community involvement, membership information and much more. I am honored to
have had the opportunity to watch this organization blossom and continue to combat the stereotypes placed
upon the plus size community. After celebrating our four year anniversary this past August, I looked back at the
many ways in which we have excelled, and I realize that there is still much more we can do within the plus size
community. The sky is the limit for Chi Zeta Theta and we are thankful to be blessed with our success thus far.
We are busy this fall! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Domestic Violence Awareness Month and
November is Diabetes Awareness Month. These causes hit home for many of us in the plus size community, so we
hope that you will join us this fall in lend a helping hand to those that are truly in need. Even if you have not
been personally affected by any of these afflictions, the please support others that may be dealing with these
issues by supporting the causes. There is always something each of us can contribute, money is not always
required. Volunteering your time is the greatest,and least expensive gift you can ever give someone and it will be
one that they can cherish for a lifetime.
